LEARN ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE STATUS APP
The Vehicle Status on your center display provides important information about your vehicle, including real-time information about your energy and efficiency. On some models, the app is labeled Vehicle Information instead of Vehicle Status.
Overview Screen
When you open the app, you’ll see a 3D rendering of your vehicle with interactive buttons you can tap. Tap any "+" icon on the image to see more detailed information, like the average efficiency for your current trip.
Tires Screen
If available, this screen shows you the tire pressure of each tire (excluding the spare tire), along with alerts if the tire pressure is above or below the recommended level.
Energy Info Screen
This screen shows you information about your vehicle’s Energy Usage and Energy Efficiency for your current trip. Tap either card to see more detail.
- Energy Usage: Monitor your energy use and impacts on efficiency. The data resets each time the vehicle restarts, and you can tap any item for more detail. You may see:
- Distance driven since last reset.
- Total energy used since last reset.
- How different factors, such as climate and Fast Charge Prep (battery conditioning), along with your driving habits, have impacted your energy consumption.
- Energy Efficiency: A real-time, color-coded graph showing your vehicle’s efficiency for up to the last 30 miles (48 km). Other relevant trip information is displayed, including:
- Trip total: Distance driven for the current trip.
- Average miles-per-kilowatt hour: The overall average amount of energy consumed during the current trip.
- Regenerated miles: Mileage accrued through regenerative braking or
One-Pedal Driving.†- Show in cluster: A button that allows you to show or hide this information in the cluster display. If you select it, a graph showing your vehicle’s last mile of efficiency information will display in an info card next to the other gauges behind the steering wheel.
- Trip total: Distance driven for the current trip.
Trip Information Screen
Trip 1 or 2 shows you the current distance traveled since the trip odometer was last reset.
- On some vehicles, you’ll also see your Average Efficiency recorded since the last time this menu item was reset. This number only reflects the approximate average electrical energy economy that the vehicle has at that moment, and it changes as driving conditions change.
- To reset these values, touch reset on the center display when Trip Information is selected.
- Current Trip displays distance driven, average efficiency, and time elapsed since vehicle startup. It resets when you turn your vehicle off.
Air Quality Screen
The screen displays the measured Particulate Matter (PM2.5), along with the status of the air quality. This tells you how clean or polluted outdoor air is. Higher numbers mean more pollutants and a greater potential for adverse health effects.
